Kitchen Countertops in Charleston, SC

Palmetto Surfacing makes kitchen countertops in Charleston, SC, in granite, marble, quartzite, quartz (including Cambria), and DuPont Corian. We laser-template your installed cabinets, cut every piece on CNC machinery in our 35,000-square-foot North Charleston shop, and install with our own crews. Most kitchens install about one to two weeks after templating.

Picking a material

Start with how you cook and clean. Quartz is the material we cut most for Lowcountry kitchens. It never needs sealing, but hot pans need a trivet. Granite takes heat and scratches and needs sealing. Quartzite has the marble look with durability closer to granite. Marble etches, so it suits people who like a lived-in look. We are a Cambria Premier Partner, so the full Cambria line is in the showroom.

Islands, seams, and cutouts done right.

We build islands, peninsulas, and long perimeter runs. On a big island, we plan any seam with you from the digital template, and we program sink and cooktop cutouts on our CNC from your fixture model numbers.
