Countertop Fabrication

Countertop Fabrication in Charleston, SC

Palmetto Surfacing has fabricated custom countertops in Charleston since 1984. Every slab we sell is cut, shaped, and finished in our own 35,000-square-foot North Charleston facility using CNC automated machinery. Because fabrication is in-house, we control quality, tolerances, and turnaround from slab to install.

What is countertop fabrication?

Fabrication is the process of turning a raw stone or solid-surface slab into a finished countertop: measuring your space, cutting the material, shaping sink and cooktop openings, profiling the edges, polishing, and quality-checking every piece before installation.

Because we never subcontract fabrication, your project is handled start to finish by one team that answers for the result. Stop by our showroom or call 843-569-1131 to start your project.

Fabricated for every material we sell.

We fabricate granite, marble, quartzite, engineered quartz (including Cambria), and DuPont Corian solid surface for kitchens, bathrooms, bars, and commercial projects across the Charleston Lowcountry.

Countertop Fabrication FAQ

We fabricate in-house at our own 35,000-square-foot North Charleston facility. Nothing is subcontracted, which lets us control quality, tolerances, and turnaround.

Most residential projects take about one to two weeks from digital templating to installation, depending on material availability and project size.

Granite, marble, quartzite, engineered quartz (including Cambria), and DuPont Corian solid surface for kitchens, baths, and commercial projects.

We use digital laser templating to capture exact measurements on site, which produces a far more precise fit than hand templating and reduces gaps and rework.
